This guy who is a Beatles freak is also a computer techno whiz and he was able to isolate Clapton’s guitar part totally from the rest of the track. According to him and other sources, Clapton’s final take on the Les Paul simultaneously included that “wobbling” effect which is really more like extra fast chorus or flange effect and it was supposedly added at the board as he played. The previous takes, which have never been heard, were the ones that they all felt sounded too much like Cream. He makes a tiny very subtle mistake at 1:50 (**). Note that the guitar part doesn’t start until after the piano intro so don’t be fooled by the silence.
